What we believe

Statement of Faith

Splankna is built on Biblical truth. Here is exactly what we believe.

1

We believe there is One God, with personhood. He is not “energy.” He is the God of the Bible and He created all that is.

2

We believe the Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant.

3

We believe that God is both separate from us and hierarchically above us, perfectly sovereign and perfectly good.

4

We believe that while God continually animates His creation, He remains distinct from it.

5

We believe that God came in flesh as the second person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ.

He died on the Cross to account for the sin of mankind, reconcile us back to Himself and to defeat all enemy, sin and death. He rose from the grave and is alive today. Eternal life is only found through faith in Him.

6

We believe He is returning to make all things new and until then, He has given us His Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, as our educator, comforter, empowerer and guide.

7

We believe there is such a thing as absolute truth and we don’t believe we always know it.

8

We believe God desires our wholeness and wants His Glory to shine through each of us. We believe that if we ask Him to move on our hearts in healing, He will.

How our faith shapes the training

1

Theology comes first

Thursday of every Core Training is devoted entirely to theology, so you understand the why before you learn the how.

2

Every session opens in prayer

We present ourselves before the throne, submit our will to Him and ask Him to align it with His own.

3

The Holy Spirit leads

We lean on His lead, not our own understanding, and trust Him to direct each step.

4

Healing at the root

Through confession, repentance and the authority of Jesus, clients break agreement with the lies and vows behind their symptoms.

Clear lines

What Splankna is, and what it isn't

What we do

âś“ Work with mind-body mechanisms God designed into creation
âś“ Submit every session to the authority of Jesus
âś“ Follow the lead of the Holy Spirit
âś“ Ground our teaching in Scripture

What we never do

✕ Use spirit guides, symbols or “attunements”
âś• Teach that humans are divine
✕ Treat God as “energy”
âś• Borrow from Reiki or occult practice

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise.”

Psalm 100:4 · the first step of every Splankna opening prayer
